So the outdoor design fitzroys are £15 in Brighton and offroad shoe seen them for £9.99 in Cardiff but they are £25 in Silverburn, glasgow. Good to see TK Max operating a uniform pricing policy throughout the country..... I'll need to get Alex Salmond onto this.

It's warmer down south so there is less demand for winter clothing than in Scotland. Mearly the economies of demand!

A couple of Berghaus Pro Shell Jackets in Middlesbrough.  Both M, both reduced from £250 - £120, both have the security tag speared through the sleeve.  May be a good chance to barter them down a bit more.  Both too small for me.

Berghaus Pro Shell Jacket size XS in Worthing. Think it was around £90 (can't remember)

Llantrisant - all the ski stuff's in store.

Some Marmot jackets including women's Oracle M and a more ski-like jacket also in M (can't remember prices); Marmot dri-clime vests in M & L (though rather vile pink colours, c.£30); and a softshell (poss. the Leadville, but I passed on by very swiftly as it was creamy white and orangey yellow, c.£60)

Berghaus Ator 'Spin' baselayer size 12 in bright red and black (£14.99). I tried one but it's the same fit as Berghaus' other women's baselayers and the 12, which is my normal size, is too tight over the shoulders.

Lots of the usual Craggies and Sprayway fleeces.

And if you're a small Berghaus man, there's several gtx & paclite jackets in the Cardiff store.
