Morfa stadium in Swansea had loads of Sprayway and Craghoppers 1/2 zip and full zip fleeces all about £15 - £20.

They even had the Merrell softshell jackets, in last years creme colour going for £9 and then this years colours going for £20 (in yellow/mustard).

Loads of outdoor designs event gloves.

Went in to look for down/synthetic jackets and found nothing

I called in to my local store (Blackburn) and had quite a fruitful visit. I picked up a 1L Aladdin flask for £4.99. I'm pleased with this as I needed a new flask. I also picked up a L/S baselayer by Horizon ( a company more famous,I've since found my doing some interneting). It is just what I was after

Its the men's version of this (not sure what the gender difference can be,other than cut?). It was less than 1/2 this price,it is worth a try,I think.

They also had,I think,Trekmates bamboo L/S baselayers,that I may get,for £9.99. Lots of OutdoorsDesigns & Extremities gloves and Bridgedale socks,too.

Visited Stafford store yesterday had more fleece tops than I have room to list some of brands I have never heard of, most at half RRP.

Other gear worth noting was Belay Jackets by Kella at £39.99.  They have a Primeloft PL1 filling but no hood even so seem good value.

New Leeds store basement yesterday.

Loads of ladies' Marmot technical gear in all sizes.

Too many to remember, includes microfleeces, softshells, hardshells. No PreCips or Windshirts; they were all different stuff.

Watch the pricings, they are erratic. One mid-weight microfleece was either £19.99 or £39.99 depending on the colour. their "RRPs" were wildly out.
