Really stupid question.

I have a set of Yeti Attack gaiters that i have been using for many years and think are great.

Apparently there is a correct side for each one to be worn.  There is no marking on either one as to which is Left or Right.  Looking at lots of videos on how to put them on, i see both sides.

I could not find a definite answer anywhere on lots of forums and have been (just) able to put them each on both boots.

Does anyone know should the storm flap be open to the outside or inside?  i.e could water (in theory) get in through the side of the stormflap from the outside of the leg or instep side?

Thanks for any help specifically with the ATTACK gaiter.

I generally wear mine open to the inside.

Edit, just went out and checked, both my Yeti Attacks and Extreme's are fitted open/in but I suspect that they should be the other way around. The cordlocks on the Attacks is on the inside worn as I do (probably should be outside) and the Extremes have the bold 'Extreme' text on the upper leg section on the inside as I wear them, I assume they should be the other way around so that people can see that you are an 'Extreme' type of guy.

I still think the closure open/in looks right but there you go
