Anybody got any experience of these shoes, looking at spring to autumn and these gained a good review in TGO.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

As always, try them on first to check fit on your feet.

I must admit I'm a tad mystified as to the point of a mesh shoe.  If the wind blows straight through them, what do you actually gain from the mesh? You'd have better breathability and less rubbing potential from a sandal.

Pete.

From personal experience, the advantage of a mesh shoe over a sandal is that you do not get stones under your feet, which can be a b----r to shift if you are bending down with a pack on your back.

That's fair enough, though with Terra Fis I find it's easy enough to get stones out by just tapping the toes against the ground until the stone comes out.  Easy come, easy go.

Pete.

Yep, I have a pair - bought them on e-bay for peanuts, they were an absolute steal. Brilliant for warm weather walking as they are super-breathable and not a bloody waterproof membrane in sight. Really comfortable and would imagine they dry quickly, but have yet to get them really wet.
