Anyone got one?
What is the fit like? slim/loose etc..
Are they any good?
I've got a featherlite smock - how do they compare?
cheers

the filament has a semi-automatic front zip with anti-snag baffle, rollaway, foam peaked, lined hood with concealed single hand adjustable face aperture draw-cords, two, map sized, zipped chest pockets and single hand operated, elasticated draw-cord hem.

absolutely nothing like a featherlite smock apart from they're made from pertex.

WTF is "a semi-automatic front zip"?

Do Crux use them on the AK47?

Parky - I've seen the marketing bumff but it doesn't mean that much.
I meant the fit compared to featherlite.
The featherlite is very loose as its a smock and has to go over your head. So it flaps like a flappy thing in high winds.
Does this also flap cos of a loose fit? or is it slim fitting like some other Montane garments like the Kinetic shirt?

has anyone used one?

I'm sure Andy Kirkpatrick gave it a good review on his blog.

I don't have one but they state it has an 'active cut' which makes me think it will be slim fitting. The Bionic tee shirt is also describd as an 'active cut' and I go up a size in that compared to some other Montane garments.

the kinetic is a slim fit stretchy top (i have two of them). it is unlikely for a pertex windtop to be that close cut.

agreed Parky - thinking about it that was a bad example for me to use - it  may (or indeed may not) be cut more like the Mountain Marathon Jacket which is slim fitting but again this is only guesswork.

i know a montane medium fits me just fine (except the extreme jacket/smock). the litespeed and featherlite are more or less the same size on me.

if a wind top is a bit flappy it doesn't bother me. it matches all the other loose, wobbly bits.
