im off with a friend for a one night wildcamp in snowdonia at the start of march we will be splitting the tent (vango hydra 200+) and im hoping to fit all my gear in a lowe alpine air centro 35+10 rucksack. the biggest bits of kit alpkit alpint dream 500 long and my roll mat alpine slim airic, will all my gear fit? or do you have any suggestions for a cheap decent rucksack?
You should manage that for one night. I can get all the gear for an overnight into a 35L pack, the secret is to use dry bags - they compress everything down nicely, and keep it dry, of course!
