I have had for 2 or 3 years some OMM Kamleika pants, I used as waterproof trousers primarily cycling but also small packed item for warmer walking, they pack small are very waterproof and comfy apart from bad breathability. I have cleaned them and renewed the DWR to maximise breathability but still not good.
Are the newer Kamleika more breathable? How much more? Is there an accepted measurement of the improvement?
Anything similar but more breathable?
I own the Kamleika, some pertex pants and Paramo Cascada. The Cascada does cold+wet extremely well and the pertex does light showers and warm wet quite well not for heavier rain and I find the Kamleika just too damp but otherwise perfect.
I am visiting UK in 3 weeks so can collect something if you all know of something?
