I suspected my Scarpa Charmoz were leaking last winter (probably even from first purchase) - even I couldn't generate that much condensation - and had not done anything about it until a week ago. I contacted The Mountain Boot Company and they agreed to test them. I dropped the boots into them Wednesday pm, next morning I got email saying they were being tested, in the afternoon I got email saying they did leak due to "manufacturing fault". The boots were about three years old, but because it was obvious they had seen little wear they sent out a replacement pair that arrived this afternoon.

Restores your faith a bit!
