I stumbled across Dash4it.co.uk while looking for some maps. Great price at £5.19 for OS Explorer maps, I ordered a couple at 2:30pm and they were delivered to my home before 10am the next day. I like that

Oh I say, well done errr....Royal Mail(?)
Second shout for Dash4It, they are brilliant. I used them for my maps for each of the sections of this years Munro round and their service and pricing are excelent (and not compromised by Royal Mail).
Yep, Royal Mail. And our postman couldn't fold the jiffy bag in half like all the other mail he rams through out wide letterbox!
I always use www.dash4it.co.uk they are always the cheapest (around 30% off) with free postage and my order has always arrived next day - its faultless!!
Oh Mark....for goodness sake. 3 posts - all directed to the dash for it website. you just lost my business for spaming a forum.
Oh dear! Used them and got good service. Thought they were good value. But like Simon says - is spamming a forum really a good idea? Instead I'll recommend www.aboveandbeyond.co.uk. They laminate any map with Aqua3. I've yet to use it in anger, but the results seem durable and solidly waterproof. They took a while (couple of weeks) but did good work and hassle-free.
The Aqua 3 stuff used to be really good so I think you are on to a winner there. When I worked in stores they were the better of the two waterproof map finishes available (forget the other, which says it all really).
IIRC it was more flexible, so didn't crack as easily as the heavier stuff.
Tuffmap's the other sort, but having fondled someone else's Aqua 3 map I'd say they're definitely more flexible.
Can't see anything out than ordinary service??
I'll join the crowd who won't go to Dash4it because I dislike their spamming.
3 for 2 direct from OS, free postage and invariably next day delivery. Oh, and no spam
i too will now avoid like the plague......

 www.dontdashforitanymore.com
I'll join the not dashing for it crowd as well. Perhaps if a few dozen people did the same they might be persuaded not to serve up the spam.
Oh dear. In all innocence I recommend something and end up creating a witch-hunt. No, I'm not linked in any way with the company, I just followed up on a recommendation from another outdoors forum. Sorry!
Noooo RAS...this isnt aimed at you, but at a plonker called Marc Jones (see further up) who hijacked your thread by promoting dash - but then he would as he works as the marketing guy for dash!
I have no connection with dash4it other than being a satisfied customer on three or four occasions. I find the site easy to use and the prices keen. When I buy from them everything arrives in a day or two, what more can you ask for?..... Just because a marketing man is setting out to promote (or ruin ) the business, with regards to the spamming it is not worth while having a witch hunt against a business that is of benefit all of us.
Not having a witchhunt - something more pointed. OM requires advertising revenue to survive...Dashforit is a business and the marketing guy thinks its worth using the forum -no problem there - but he hijacked a thread and (I presume) tried to get some advertising for free. 10/10 for trying and 10/10 for being misguided.
