Now i know normally the reviews for alpkit gear norm give high praise for quality and price, but as yet I've not seen any one comment on the new sleeping mat ranges, and would be interested in hearing any views on the Numo before i order one.

To be fair the guy I linked to uses his gear a lot more than average and there were some initial problems with the NeoAirs when they first came out. So not necessarily all doom and gloom.

Actually ended up getting one. (yet another sleeping mat!)

So far, i quiet rate it, because you can really pack it down small into a dry bag.

Chucked the massive storage bag it came with, you can pack it down to half that size.

What is it like for warmth? I like the idea of a thicker mat but was put off the Numo because most of it is uninsulated and simple airbeds have a reputation for being very cold.

During the brief period I used mine in March/April, it was noticeably chillier than the Exped I'd used in much colder weather Nov-Jan.
