Has anyone on here got Teva sandals?

If so, do you find them comfortable?

The pair I have got I find uncomfortable.  I have trapped nerves in my big toe as a result of wearing them, it has even made my old sandals uncomfortable.

I have 2 pairs both great, one leather and the other well... not leather

I wear the non-leather type a lot in the summer and can have them on all day - great for walking in.A bit of a pain camping though as they are a nuisance to keep taking on and off, in and out of the tent. So yes, they are comfortable.

Time for some crocs I think.

 Hope this helps

Edited : note Teva Hurricane; bought 1/2 price from Blacks about 4 years ago and still going strong

The Teva Wraptors I'm wearing as I type this are very comfortable and have been for years. But then I've bought shoes that seemed fine in the shop, and for a while afterwards, but ended up being very painful to use. Just one of the chances you take buying any footwear I guess -- though I've never had a pair of sheepskin slippers turn out uncomfortable yet.

I've had successive pairs of Tevas going back nearly 20 years and have always found them comfortable and hardwearing.

Different footwear comes in different shapes.  Tevas work for me... but then I probably have rather different feet from you.

If Tevas don't work for you, try something else.

Pete.

I have had 4 different pairs of teva sandals, and had problems. First pair were wraptor II - gave me blisters to begin with and then turned out great. When they wore out I replaced them with Wraptor III and they were spectacularly rubbish. They had a pad sewn in the heel and the sewing rubbed my heel, I tried everything to make them work, ended up throwing them away virtually unworn.

Last 3 years I had ones that cover big toe - can't remember name. Really bad design for me as they did up with a plastic connector - which was right by the ankle bone and rubbed, I loosened them off enough to ease it, but always rubbed a bit.

I currently have pretty rugged leather, these are more comfortable, grips are not as good, but they are fine for the hour and half walk up local hills I do everyday.

I also had a pair of walking shoes by teva, and they were unwearable because they had a hard section in heel that rubbed, it was a join!!

So a very mixed bag, I would look out for bad design features on their shoes/sandals. I get the feeling the more simple designs are better.

My merrels are more comfortable.

I have Pretty Rugged leather and they are very comfortable for me.

Maybe the flex point of your feet isn't in the same place as the flex point for  the sandals? I can't wear New Balance nor Ecco shoes for that very reason. We just don't get on in an anatomical sense. In the same way, Inov8 irritate the hell out of my ankle bones and Merrell shoes do the same for my achilles tendon, although most folk love them.

I guess that Teva just isn't the right sandal for your particular feet.

I've got teva's and love them. I've just bought a pair of Karrimor closed-toe sandals for everyday use and they are very comfy, I don't even need my special inserts.

"I guess that Teva just isn't the right sandal for your particular feet." Agree!

Have Teva Wraptors - tried different tensions on the straps, but always ended up with blisters. It took many a "one last try then they are definitely going in a charity bag or the bin". Now they are very comfortable - I wouldn't get another pair and go through that again.
