Apart from being very economical with gas usage, obviously the Jetboil pan design makes full use of the gas available at the time.Cold conditions affect the performance of gas stoves. How much more detail do you need.? It's only a stove.Cheers.

I just need to know if it is any better or worse than other canister top stoves?

I dont think you'll get a definitive answer on that James. Its each to their own and some like the PCS and some hate it.

TGO did a round up of all stoves recently perhaps a back copy? the review was a lot more detailed than the online information from them.

Personally I would decide what I 'needed' or 'desired' from it.
build quality
included gadgets
weight
extra gadgets

Then I would see which I could get a deal on.
