Funny how this thread keeps returning to alcohol! My favourite coktail is a variation on the Moscow Mule, but a couple of measures vodka, a measure of creme de cassis and top up with bitter lemon is an interesting one.

I rather like Manhattan's as well, and Bloody Mary's, and occasionally a Brandy Alexander. JJ the Ninja Starfish and Bob like Mimosa's which I'm looking forward trying soon...

<??< well, when are you going to make me one you two???>

Bloody Marys with Big Tom spiced tomato juice. Mmmm...

I think I overdid Black Russians in my late teens. Tried white russians? Very sickly!

I overdid Black Russians in Vegas. The bar we went to did cocktail - ANY COCKTAIL - for $1.25.

Hic.

I quite like white russians. The most revolting cocktail I've had was the aptly named Brain Haemorrhage. Can't remember exactly what it contains other than a shot of Baileys that clots in the middle of it so you can feel 'the lump' when you swallow. With obvious consequences.

I don't drink spirits.
After a good meal on a little Greek island and a bottle of local wine shared with Bob, somone treated us each to a Long Island Iced Tea. I had an early night, I felt very peculiar; the next day I was told what was in it. I was told 'every white spirit in the bar plus cola'. Jeez.

Be about right. I treated my girlfriend to one in a cocktail bar in Barcelona. I sort of remember giving her a piggyback back to the hotel as she cheerfully calle "Hola!" to passers by. So maybe we do indeed have the best method of introducing people to the hills?

Brain Haemorrhage has grenadine in, doesn't it? I remember seing someone have something called gorilla snot which was similar, but with red *and* green.

Baileys and Creme de menthe is interesting and doesn't curdle...

Long Island Iced Tea is lovely but the problem is that it tastes like it' should only be about 4% abv. Alas, that is not the case as you clearly discovered!
Bailey's & creme de menthe? Christ on a bike!!!!

Has anyone else tried Absinth and Red Bull?

Just me then...

Sounds foul, but TVRs are the way forward for a big night out (Tequila, Vodka, Redbull for the uninitiated). Proper dance-all-night loopy-juice.
