I am having trouble finding womens walking trousers in a 33" leg length. Any suggestions

Rohan. Some of their styles come with an unfinished hem and about 34" IIRC

Not a big fan of Rohan myself though-I think they are over-featured, and didn't seem to wash very well.

Thaw (can order online) do longer length trousers in 33, which can be ordered over the phone (see www.thawonline.co.uk). I haven't quite plucked up the courage to buy some yet, as they are quite pricey, but when I posted a similar post, a lot of people raved about them.

Could try men's trousers (most women's ones seem to be copied off the men's one's anyway-but don't get me into a rant on women's gear...). Depends how small you are though and they still might be a bit short.

Alternatively, you might be able to find some casual trousers in M&S that are made of a suitable material (i.e. non-cotton)-they do a great range of sizes, and will be cheaper than getting something very specialist. Depends on what you use them for.

Post a review if you try something. Women's trousers are very underrepresented, and I'm still mulling where to splurge.

Living in Europe I don't have a problem getting longer length items (I’m 6’1 and a UK size 12) with American imports coming in much longer lengths on the continent than those you find in the UK (all to do with the UK average customer size thing being shorter and erm, rounder I believe). Having once been sponsored by TNF I do tend to still get their kit as it fits me, but it is a problem getting kit in the UK. Rohan used to be quite good but the cut is just so wrong, kind of tight but baggy at the same time – they just don’t fit me.
I have had some good kit from non-specialist shops in the past but have normally just bought my outdoor gear in Holland where everything is available in all sizes. If you like a particular item then it maybe worth getting hold of the UK imported and seeing what they can do or mail order from Europe?
