IKEA bags are good if your on a budget

Yellow ones free (apart for the criminal record if your caught nicking it)

Hi, I've used both Beal Folio and DMM Super Slacker ropebags. The prices out of a Snow + Rock catalogue are 25 quid and 30 quid respectivly (can't seem to find a pound button my keyboard, actually vanished) but prob less if you look around on t'inernet. Both are good and feel pretty tough, the Slacker can be used like a rope bucket and the Folio folds out into a mat type thing.

Cheers Ali I'll do some Froogling for best prices. It was a mat type thing he was after.

BTW IKEA bags make great boot bags & keep the car boot cleaner.

I've got a millet (french millet not crappy high-street brand!) one (cant remember the model sorry) that folds out into a mat type but folds up into a rucksack with straps pluss enough room for your stickies and rack....great for summer evening cragging!

I use a £3.99 from the market type tool bag with rope handles, easily holds a 50 or 60 metre rope, rack, stickies and helmet

B and Q do a "boot bag" that unzips into a decent sized tarp (a bit big, if anything), for a fiver...

Rope bag should include a tarp. DMM and Outdoor Designs bags I've seen looked reasonable.

I use a piece of proofed nylon, fastend with a couple of straps. Not so good for carrying, but cheap. And makes a good shelter when it rains...
