I am new to all this and have been trying to find a kids sleeping bag that has more thermal proterties than those needed for a sleep over or a stay in a summer caravan. Can anyone advise where I could get a decent kids bag, probably one that has a comfort rating down to -5, or preferably -10 ish.

thanks.

vango do a baby sleeping bag, its a metre long and is sooo cute...

its got a comfort rating of 0c, i've not found one lower than that but my sprog wears fleecy jimjams to bed anyway, and she seems very comfortable in it - we were camping last weekend (about -9 or so).

a lot depends on what they sleep on - izzy sleeps on a 3/4 thermarest - and what they eat before bedtime.

vango range or i think jackwolfskin might do some thing. if the bag is too long try tieing a length of string up the bag to prevent your kiddie slipping to the bottom.

Many thanks for the Info I'll have a look at the vango. I've looked at the Jack wolfskin website and looks like some options but am struggling to find a UK based internet retailer who stocks the range. Any suggestions most welcome.

Tesco cheapies or argos, much the much-ness and in extreme cold I supplement with blankets/duvets above and below. Karrimat to stop cold striking through.Better still get A motorhome !

Not everyone has 'millionaire' motor home money though...most struggle to pay the food bills.
