Have you had a look at the hillebrg tents. They can be a bit expensive but are very light and stand up to the wort weather you can imagin. Good luck with your trip.

well, just got back from iceland. in the end we decided to put out kit in the porch, this included my panniers and mates trailer, the bikes stayed outside. i'd definitely reccomend getting a cover for the bikes, for weather protection and security.

But I know Hillebergs are bit expensive but then again shop around and you may come across a dealer that sells Hillebergs and other tents at 15% off the RRP.
