Hi -

I'm after an adapter to enamble me to run a Coleman Alpine stove off a Campingaz 904 type of cylinder.

I know you used to be able to get these, but am struggling to find one anywhere.

Can anyone suggest where to get one from?

Many Thanks,

Mike

Hi - Thanks for the reply.

I've tried their website, I've even been to my local Towsure store, but to no avail. :-(

Any other ideas?

Cheers,

Mike.

Karrimor GoSystem make one called a PowerPak. Take a look on:
www.wiggle.co.uk
which is a OM shopping partner or use Google and you should be able to track one down.

Hi, again, thanks for the reply.

Just to clarify, this is the kind of bottle I want to use - http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/ishop/877/shopscr1232.html

and this is the kind of stove I want to use -
http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/ishop/877/shopscr2123.html

I need an adaptor of some kind to go between the 2.

Thanks in advance (again :-) )

Mike.

Mike, I dont think you're gonna be able to find something like that.

Really the stove and bottle you want to match up are designed for very different situations.

The bottle is for car/static camping and the stove is for backpacking etc.

I suppose you could try and rig up somethin using a regulator and some hose staright to the stove - but I really wouldn't recommend it. Lots of potential for gas leaks!!!

Sorry.

Si

Camping Gaz do a cooker unit that fit on top of these bottles. It's called the Super Carena R and fits both 904 and 907 cylinders.

It's on their website. Probably be cheaper to buy than an adaptor.
