that said Dave I wouldn't use either !
Was Thinking Petzl, not sure I want Camp plastered all over my Helmet!! The piss taking that would follow from Family and Friends

I can recommend Petzl as I have a Vertex Vent A11 with mesh visor + ear defenders Which I use for tree work and a Spelios caving helmet which I've just purchased for caving Top quality build and very durable products, no complaints here.
I don't have a specific Rock climbing helmet as I don't really climb rock, well outside anyway, but Petzl make great helmets.

I've got the Ecrin Roc as it is a good all-round mountaineering lid, is DEAD EASY to adjust for fit while actually wearing it and I don't give a toss if it is fashionable or not
;o)

Despite its published weight, after 10 minutes it fits so well that I forget it's on. My greatest fear is 'hat hair' which Bob is mercifully not prone to

JJ like me Bob is not prone to Hair, let alone hat hair hair :)
LOL Well I've just discovered my copy of summit the most recent one (I was having a clear out) and suprise suprise there's an article in it about to wear or not to wear a helmet.
