Ugh, a floorcloth? wouldnt that be really uncomfortable? I might go down to lidls on monday and check them out though, cant complain for £2!

How good would it be for cleaning pots/pans etc you think?

It's called a floorcloth, but it's just another microfibre cloth.

So no, it's not uncomfortable. I wouldn't have suggested it as a towel if it were uncomfortable; this is OM, not S&M.

Since it has no abrasive properties, probably no better at cleaning pots and pans than a simple dishcloth. But lighter, quicker drying, etc.

Hi,

So, if you could have someone else carry them, would you all go for as large a towel as you could get?  Seems like the extra uses as a beach towel, sun-shade etc could be very handy.

There was a recent thread on here with somone suggesting a peice of muslin as a pack towel, I meant to try it but never did. Did anyone else?

Currently I use a microfibre cloth meant for polishing your car, it is a little small though so I might check out the Lidl ones next time I'm passing.

I'm currently using a 'Pet Towel' from the 99p Store.  It's quite big.

Note that this is a zombie thread; there are now microfibre cloths all over the place, not just in Lidl.

Oh yeah, so it is. Why do people come on here with 1 post and resurrect ancient threads and then dissappear into the ether?

It must be the poorest and least entertaining form of trolling.

Trolling BBF? So why did you respond? Just curious.

I've got it! Look at the date, it's an anniversary post.

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..............

I'm not quite sure what you mean Offroad Shoe about dates? whos birthday? Its neither mine nor the threads?

Why did I respond? Because I didnt look at the date on the OP, therefore not realising it was an ancient thread until Captain P pointed out the fact.

i used one of those bar towels you get infront of the pumps when i went travelling years ago, not ideal for changing on the beach though as it was only just big enough to cover me do-dar(not that i'm bragging)
