Ben, it might be worth talking to trading standards to see if there's anything they can advise, but to be honest I'd be suprised if you'll get any help on a 3 year old pair of boots, I've heard of boots being replaced/repaired after 18 months, after a bit of hassle, if there is a lifetime warranty it's probably full of exclusions, "what, you've been outside in them?, what do you expect?", (not that I'm synical or anything like that)

Well, ive now replaced the leaky POS' with some La Sportive Makalus :0)

I've got nowt really against salamon cuz apart from these new boots, all my outdoor footwear (inc snowboard boots) is salamon.

I was thinking about it the other day nd althought they were expensive and 3 yrs old and had been thrashed all over the UK and alps, they still shouldn't have split.
