As we're on to a new page it seems like a good moment to give another plug to Conan's fundraising site!

After all, he isn't doing this for fun!

Well done Conan, now just get back down safely :D

They've now made it back to camp 2 at 7800m and are all fine. Will descend to ABC tomorrow so should hear from Conan directly then.

Probably a bit late now but Conan's been on the telly tonight - library pictures of course but a good report on the BBC North West news and a mention for his appeal for Christie's too.

It will be great to have our stick-wielding, dog-thrashing, bullet-dodging Cheadle climber (31) (34) (43) [either dodgy measurements for a climber or he's lied about his age!] back amongst us again before too long.

Conan's now back at ABC, feeling 'completely exhausted' but elated to have made it to the top this time.

He said that the summit conditions were great.

He's picked up a stomach bug from drinking some dodgy water so was very 'weak and wobbly' today and kept falling over - it's a good thing that he was OK yesterday! They're now going to rest at ABC for a couple of days before descending to Base Camp on 21st May.

I expect you'll get a full report from the man himself once he's back in the UK - hopefully by the beginning of June.

Congrats and hugs from me - sorry it's belated but just got back home after two days away.

On Wednesday morning I texted a couple of mates, explained that I'd be out of internet contact so could they please to let me know by text when Conan was safe. One of them (who shall remain nameless) let me know by email!!
Obviously I read this before I got the email ;o)

Thought you'd like to know that Conan is now HOME! (Hurrah!)

He's fine, getting lazy and enjoying eating all the foods he's been missing for the past 2 months!

Congratulations on finaly dodging the golf club carrying ammericans and making it to the top and bigger congratulations for getting back in one piece.
