Anyone know when this tent will materialise? I was told last year that is was a February 2010 UK release date...

I remember reading somewhere that it wasn't going to be called the Scutum when it was released in the UK. Edit: In fact it was right here on OM, clicky

Hardly surprising!

Aye, what were they thinking of?

There is an amusing generic problem here - because we now get the previews via the internal trade shows (which logically have to work in advance I guess), by the time we actually get to spring everyone has forgotten what is coming Might have to republish the previews or something

Aye, what were they thinking of?
It's the Latin word for a shield and the name of a constellation. Still can't help thinking that it shouldn't have been used for a tent though. Would be a better name for a sac

Isn't this the Vaude Power Lizard featured in the latest Trail?
|

uses 'internal bracing'? do they mean 'sit inside and hold the tent up with your arms when it gets a bit blowy'
|
 |
Sounds like the sort of thing Vango use.
|
 |
Could this be it???

It does look familiar, and I bet it is the tent formerly known as 'Scutum'.
