Evening all
I have just invested in a couple of expensive small led torches,now as powerfull as they are if you were to put them down or drop one in the grass at night,I would like the very best chance of retrieving it, by attaching some luminous cord or something along them lines that will help me to to highlight the item.
Just wondered if anybody could point me,in the right direction or throw a few really good idears my way.

a piece of reflective tent guy - um, not luminous of course. I have dabbed some dots of kids luminous paint on a few things (from a tent zip pull to my compass) - that works quite well, but the live of the luminosity (how long it glows from being exposed to a light source to not being luminous) may be a bit limited

that kids weaving stuff called 'skoobidoo' [spelling?!?!] has luminous strands.

Otherwise, you can get luminous plastic 'pebbles' [got mine from Aldi a long time ago] or luminous watch paint frm ebay etc.
cheapskate option is to look through some H&S magazines & get a free sample of luminous tape/signs....
