I bought a jacket from Aldi's for £20.00, complete with fleece, and it has been alright.
Does anyone know anything about this Crane Sports"? Do they have they're own website or do they jus deal with Aldi's?

As far as I know Cranesports gear is only sold by Aldi in the UK. There is a VERY limited website www.cranesports.de which seems to be them.

I bought some ski pants and a snowboarding coat from Cranes Sports through Aldi's pretty good stuff. only 20.00 US

I have bought quite a few items of Crane Sports clothing from Aldi and it is fantastic, got 2 short sleeve baselayers and 2 long sleeve baselayers today for a total of £20. My friend swears by there stuff and it appears to be very hard wearing which when you take into account the price is amazing !!

i ve been using their stuff for a while and so far they have not let me down i go mountain walking in the lake district and since ive been wrapped in crane sports gear the cold wind and rain are no longer an issue these very good value and good quality clothing is a must have in the bags of campers hikers and walkers. what you get with crane is high market quality for low high street prices, i compare them with berghaus and north face and find they are just as good as the expensive alternatives.

Strange that the last five posters on this thread have all made just the one post

I have used their walking socks and found them to be comfortable and very good value for the money. No I have NOT been paid to say this.

I wish someone would pay me for saying nice things about them. Even better if I were paid by a manufacturer to say nasty things though! That would be even more better in fact in my book - and would lead to far more honest appraisals of the cheap kit. As some of it is just rather awful I really feel! I wasn't paid by them to be honest and say that here though either!

I recently got a crane sports soft shell jacket- for £3.99! Pretty, pretty good!

Just buoght a 3 man inflatable dinghy by crane sports and it is tough and as good as some of the leading makes. i think they are cheap because we are not paying for badges and labels. al other crane sport stuff ive bought is still going strong and works well up in the welsh mountains where i spend loads of time on and off camp. I haven't been payed to say this, at the price they sell their stuff they probably can't afford it

I shop at Lidls, and so far, quite a bit of their stuff I have bought is excellent value. Running and Cycling gear. The best test of their gear was using their spanners in a professional enviroment, the chocolate test, they passed and lived to fight another day, not bad for a set of combination spanners for £6 or thereabouts. My Snap-on spanners cost hundreds and they were stolen, so cheapies do me well now.
