HELP!! Im Mike, im 21 and live in Stoke-on-Trent. I really really need a climbing/ walking partner. I have been climbing for 1 year, and walking for 2 years. I am free to climb or walk at weekends anywhere in England or Wales. I am also free to climb localy a couple of nights a week. I am looking for anyone who is realiable. Experience is not an issue for me, it would be great to have some that i can learn from, but i would also be just as happy to pass on my limited knowledge, or to just learn as equals. Hope to hear from someone soon!!! Mike

Try the local area climbing clubs too maybe Mike. Also worth trying the local Rambler's groups, especially the younger 20-30's groups; as well as not forgetting meeting possible potential folks at local climbing walls. As most big new sportscentres seem to have those a lot of the time nowadays. Best of luck with your search for someone there anyways. Welcome to the OM forum by the way, good to see you here.

Hello Mike, Just spotted your post. Are you still looking for a climbing/walking partner? I've been walking for years and have just got back into the climbing side too. I live in the Congleton area and try to get to the Peaks, Lakes, or Wales at weekends. Glenn

Hi Mike, I'm from Stoke - not a climber but do like to go walking. Never been a problem going alone but always nice to meet other folks. Jim
