We're thinking of spending a few days in Wales in a couple of weeks time, doing some coastal walking, but we haven't decided exactly where yet.

Has anyone a favourite campsite that we could base ourselves in?

dont know any campsites as have never used them, alsways wild camp, but i do live 16 miles from st.davids and can help if you need any info on the area etc.

Thanks for the offer Chris.

We would be looking at doing multiple day walks rather than any overnighters. Are there any 'must see' short routes that we should cover?

in the north st.davids head is nice

in the south fresh water west is also nice

I quite like Howelston Park near Little Haven. It is handy for an evening walk back into Little Haven, and the excellent (but crowded) Castle Inn, and lies just off the coastal path. I understand East Hook site is basic but gets warm reviews and is handy for Marloes Sands, a lovely and usually quiet beach.

Might be a good idea to book - it's busy down here!
