We were hoping for clear views today but there was an haziness which never seemed to clear. From Elterwater we walked up the old quarry track before turning off for the ridge. From the summit we descended to the Blea Tarn road summit and went to Blea Tarn before skirting Blea Moss to the Wrynose road. It is now possible to visit the "Ting Mound" at Fell Foot farm courtesy of the NT. From there we walked to Slater Bridge before returning to Elterwater via Dale End.
