I'm running Quo and I converted to GPX no problems.  However when I tried to upload the route to OM.  It recognised no problem then gave me the error, 2 routes in this file it can only be 1.

So although I have one complete outing, I separated it to two routes i.e. two days but can't upload it here.  This would be useful in the future, I think for long distance routes.

Thanks Simon,

The problem of multi day routes is a known issue, and is an issue with the Anquet software as opposed to any GPX convertion problem. Anquet's server can only accept a single route per .adf file for processing, so at present multi day routes have to be written as seperate files.

Even using the Anquet mapping software to write the routes you need a seperate .adf file per route. By default the software puts all routes into a single Database, so the first step of plotting a new route (or transferring an existing one) is to close all databases then create a new database for each route.

What would also make sense is where a multi day route is split to make a note of this in  the Short Description.

I suppose I could just save it as two separate gpx files then upload making it clear they are linked.  I'll give it a try.

Thanks Simon....If you put them up as two parts I can add a link from part 1 to part 2

I would like to use this sort of facility for my walking log.  At the moment, I use EveryTrail which uses Google maps.  I would much prefer to use OS maps and I have an extensive set of Anquet maps.  However, the one thing that EveryTrail does which your system and Anquet does not do (as far as I can tell at the moment - I have only just looked at it) is to be able place photos on the map where they were taken either by geotagging or using the time of the photo and matching it to the time of the track.  Have you any plans for this?

Tracklogs got back to me on GPX filetype support:

It's because the GPX file format has so many variants and the particular type used by OM is not one we support just yet. We are adding to the GPX support as the format matures and it becomes more obvious which variants are gaining in popularity.

Meanwhile, I feel like the only one who can't convert GPX to TRL using GPSBabel....
