My mobile contract is up for renewal and the iphone is calling, has anyone test drove the new memory map application in the mountains yet.
I am really intrested to know about signal, realibility and ease of use. The battery issue can be solved with an add-on. I was considering the 2800 GPS from memory map until this came out.
shocking not worth money next to no functionality compared to viewranger or the windows version. Buy a HTC HD2 instead works out of the box no unlocking to make it half useful like the iphone
On a lighter note i am sure they are working on it. I would wait though, summer should bring the new iphone, so i would wait if its an iphone you want. If you want GPS on a phone you still cannot beat getting a Pay as you go Nokia 5800 and getting viewranger.
Memory map should have started earlier, rather than buying out QCTViewer and tarting it up.
