hi all, getting the hang of this site a bit now but whilst I'm on the subject of being a newb, is there anyway to make a review for products not listed. Few of favourite items that i can't find and wanted to give some stellar marks on, namely bushbuddy stove, pak-lite torch and jacks R better no snivellar down quilt. I'm guessing because none are sold directly from uk although pak-lite can be found on ebay uk site and backpacking light sell what appears to be exactly the same as bushbuddy but calling it The bush cooker. btw I am know for waffling on a bit aint mammut just got the coolest logo > hahaha
Getting a product into the reviews is a long term process. I cant remember which thread I read this in but in theory it works like this:
1)Got to the reviews section and click on the category in which your item belongs e.g.
"Cooking, eating & drinking" -> "stoves"
2) You will see a list of 5 popular stoves - at the bottom of this shortlist click on "See all products in this category"
3) You should now see the first page of the full list of stoves. At the bottom of this click on the link "suggest a product". Follow the instruction from there on.
What happens is that someone at OM high command will get an email or something automatically generated by the details that you input. They will then need to follow it up with the manufacturer and eventually update the website with the confirmed product details. This latter process appears to take about a 100 years...(though perhaps it depends on the popularity of the item you want to review)

Good Luck!
Glad to see it's getting faster. I stopped suggesting new products ages ago as the reviews just never appeared, despite email reminders.
Jon's missing a trick here as the review section will eventually be too outdated to be of any use. Take the Neo-air mattress; a really exciting, popular product and there are no reviews for it. Has no-one submitted one? I find that hard to believe.
