 Well, my girlfriend and I shall be welcoming a new addition to the family on Tuesday evening... we're nipping up the M6 to collect a Border Collie puppy from somebody near Carlisle. We've gone for a Blue Merle - I've always been fascinated by them, ever since I was a kid and the farmer up the road in the Lakes had a couple.

Alas no wealthy Stotty relatives for me Wayne, I'm of the Stotts from the western side of the hill.... Lancashire!!!  Currently exiled in Meltham.... oh dear....  just confessed my ancestry in public for all Yorkshire folk to read, I expect the lynch mob to be pounding on my front door at any moment!

 Just a quicky ! my faithfull hound Ghyll is not currently in the best of health and showing signs of her age, so we are looking to get her a companion to potter away the days on the fells with ! If anyne knows of any Border Collie Puppies around and about looking for a happy home in the Lakes then I would appreciate a heads up ! a dog rather than a bitch for preference cheers Guy

We have now brought our new friend home, and he's a very little bundle of joy! Billy, blue merle Border Collie pup. That's my normal(ish) sized hand.
