To a point Chris, I dare not get it all out for fear of the "what, when and how did you buy that", "i Havn't seen that before", "Oh and why do you need another tent you have 4"

I so love new kit, he says as the postman drops his new pipedream 400 through the letterbox.    -  Wrote Blackbird.

Man, that's one big letterbox you have there!

To my mind there's not enough kit on this "I love kit" thread. I need to hear some specs, weights, technical features etc.

So what's the most pointless object of desire on your wish list? Mine has to be the Patagonia R1 Hoody. This is a thin fleece for £100 FFS. Why do I want it?!

Most pointless bit of kit that i must buy but don't need...... hmmmmm....... how about crampons and a nice pair of ice axes. As a "newbie" to this full on outdoors lifestyle i can't see me doing any ice climbing for some time yet. But then i can't get crampons until i have some compatible boots.... now there is an idea...

Montane SuperFly, I feel the cold so I wear my Buffalo most of the time, I DO NOT NEED a waterproof jacket that flash!
