Wayne Kerr made lab equipment that I used at Uni... we would try to find a way of putting it into our lab reports in subtly amusing fashion. Geeks that we were (/are)

In fact, I remember using one to test a multivibrator... but that's a long story...

Oh... and as for Topher, on the one hand - well done for an amazing feat - on the other hand, no surprise that TNF has taken a dive if the boss is out training for ultramarathons. Actually the two seem to go hand in hand; loads of CEOs enter the Hawaii Iron Man each year and there's some kind of competition for them...
