Lots and lots of really very good outdoors books there on Google to read for free aren't there just! I keep on finding really interesting stuff there.

Link here.

Edit - a full long link address was temporarily originally put in above, which is the reason for the conversation with Paddy that follows below. Just so no one gets confused!!

Errr... bit of a long link there!

Why not just call it 'Google Books'?

No Paddy, that was just where I happened to find that particular interesting book there is all, but I was planning to go back to redo the link to a smaller one anyway as it happens!

Yes! Looking for further details of the involvement of Ran Fiennes in the development of the Cadbury's Boost bars. He was on a tv show a few years back ago talking about how he wanted a particular special choc bar to take lots of to polar adventure treks. He couldn't find the perfect one so got in touch with Cadburys who redid a Boost bar to fit his special requirements as an explorer and adventurer, and filled it full of glucose sugars instead of sucrose I think. Thus it gives instant energy to the body, giving sugar in a form the body can immediately use; without having to convert it to glucose from the normal chocolate bar sucrose sugars. He wanted a high energy for weight choc bar to pull behind him on an unsupported polar trek on sledges. That is the current Boost bar in the shops these days you see.

I've had a good bit of computer trouble today sadly......so everything is taking a mite bit longer to do it seems.

I have to travel half a yard just to read a single line above!  - Wrote Paddy.

Surely no trouble at all for a pro seasoned adventure walker such as your very good self there!
