Update!

So, i bought the item and have indeed slept in it.

Umm, well its warm enough; though not quite long enough (i'm 6'4) but thats ok, the inner linings abit clammy and feels cheap. It also smells rather musty and no amount of airing can get rid of it. Its alright, not that great but for the money i'll make do , i wasn't expecting much so i'm not disappointed.

To sum up , warm and light but smells like shite!

Wash it in down wash and get a liner, should sort that out.

Has anyone actually weighed one? 225g/m2 times about 3 sq metres? plus fabrics that are not exactly ultralight?

I haven't, I don't have any scales and believe what I read.

Now where did I put my copy of the Daily Mail..?

I've just weighed mine. Without bag, 800g.

Yep I weighed mine a while back and 800g was about right.

Ive used mine all summer from wildcamps in the Lakes in May/June, while camping the TMB in July and also for a wet bivi night in my garden.

It's generally been warm enough, only on one night in the Alps did it get a bit chilly (though we were at around 2500m where there was still a bit of snow, and I wasn't wearing much.) Build quality wise, I think everyone realises its poor and feels cheap but mine hasn't developed any faults yet. It does however seem to leak a fair amount from everywhere.

> 225g/m2 single layer goose down filling

I suspect that's bobbins; some conflation of a synthetic spec and a down spec.

I bought one, thinking 800g would be warmer than my 600g Vango Venom 150, but the extra weight is a double-bag outer, not down.  If did weigh about 800g.  So I'd suspect that it contains only about 150g of down, and the rest is shell fabric.
