Stayed there end of last week also. Didn't know you could pitch next to the river else I would have done that!

I pitched up on the higher ground next to the wall (at the back) - not a bad spot.

make sure you get level ground, by the river is best!

Stayed there last night and the night before, thought it was very nice indeed. I resisted pitching down by the beck as I thought it might be more likely midge-hell.

Pitched at quite a slope on the bank then moved down to a slightly more level spot last night.
