I have a number of magazines from 1979-80 about 11 in total. Mainly Climber & Rambler, some Crags. Also copy of Field & Trek equipment guide 1978.

Does anyone want these free of charge before I put them in the recycling bin? Can be picked up (Tring) or I can post for price of postage.

Either that or a local Scouts group might well love em!

Don't throw away any old Footloose mags though, that Chris Townsend used to be editor of! They are far too brilliantly good to chuck away! Full of all kinds of great stuff they are! I wish now oh how I wish I'd kept all my Footloose mags! A real dream of an outdoors magazine that one was.

You can also get rid of them all locally of course free to your local Freecycle group online as well!You just need to sign up to your local group and away you go!

A very warm welcome to the OM forum for you too btw, you new poster you! Very brave I think jumping straight into the water too here, with starting a thread all of your very own! Most folks including myself there were not so brave hearted, I can tell you.

Thanks for replies to date. Have tried eBay, Freecycle etc but no takers to date. Reluctant to bin as somebody must find them of interest.

Dead right about Chris Townsend. When it comes to advice and reviewing he's a 'mountain' among 'hillocks'! (doesn't include anyone remotely connected with OM tha knows, Horace)

Sometimes a thread does wander a little there David. Any post is potentially helpful to a thread very often though anyway, in moving it back up to the top of the pile, so that more folks have the opportunity to see it there; else they rapidly slide down to the second page etc etc, as other threads appear throughout any day you see. It all does not change the purpose of the thread though, not one bit, so worry not.
