Just joined up at OM. Can't believe I missed this by a couple of days! When is the next one?!....

Hi  folks.

Well, its been all go for me since last Friday. Horrendous drive to N Wales, busy day on Saturday in the pouring rain on Tryfan - thanks Mike, Kelvin & Martin for making it possible for me to be down there with you all (and Richard G - even tho u didn't make it)

I'm glad you guys were happy with what we did anyway. The evening session in the pub was fab, the beer was good, the food was good, as was the crack!

Thanks to Dave Mycroft for organising the whole thing and providing entertainment for people in the pub on Saturday night  We hope your head wasn't hurting too much on Sunday Dave and was there any beer left?

Thanks to Matt for rescuing us from the Campsite on Saturday night. There were some people staying there whom we were very far from sorry to see the back of and I'm not talking OM'ers. Nice little site, tho short on ablutions and there definitely needed to be a warden on site to deal with those annoying w*****s

So, we woke up to peace & sunshine on Anglesey on Sunday. It seemed a much better day than Saturday although we could see showers over the park. We hope you all had a good day on Sunday whatever the weather threw at you! An easier drive back to the lakes then a fast turnaround of kit before canoeing on Ullswater yesterday. Today I've been gorge scrambliing at Nidderdale in North Yorkshire and then off to borrowdale tomorrow - phew! No rest for the wicked, I must have been bad somewhere!

Anyway, hopefully see some of you again sometime soon and yes - Winter Skills will definitely be happening again next Feb or March. Venue - Cairngorms as always. Let us know if you are interested.

All the best and thanks again.

Well after Wayne dropped the 1st Aid because he's sick of the attitude of some people on the Forum, Steve dropped out of the Photography when the number of people who said they were interested disappeared at the thought of paying £15 for expert tuition the whole weekend would have been written off if it hadn't been for iain and the few who did turn up. If there is to be a next one then someone else can organise it...........and fortunately Ayrshire Tiger said he'd organise one in Scotland sometime later this year.

I'll consider myself told!

It would be a pleasure to have your company if you could make it Kate.
