Guy - I somehow doubt they're a charity. But if you buy insoles by the lorry-load, without packaging, in one shipment direct to the factory I suspect they work out rather cheaper than punters pay in downtown Ambleside. But unless Haglofs sell replacement insoles a lot cheaper than £37, I would think the price of replacing them will put some people off buying the shoes in the first place, since they are very nearly half the price of the shoe!
