 Just my opinion, but i find it a bit insulting to the forum when this happens. Why not offer the gear here first, instead of using the forum as free advertising for flea-bay?

As you say it's just your opinion and everyone's welcome to their own opinion.Its quite obvious from the comments on Peewiglets Blog that not everyone agrees with you on certain topics but hey we live in a world of free speech and if thats your opinion then thats fine by me.

I'd prefer advertising a week or two here first before fleabaying too. BPL US don't allow fleabay links. Think that's a tad further than I'd like to go here but think first dibs for OMers is in order.

It's not even a link to fleabay, which would have at least been helpful! It's an "I-can't-even-be-arsed-to-put-a-proper-link" link to fleabay! Or perhaps is the absence of such links, and the mis-spelling of "E bay" a sneaky way round such links being detected by magicalias computer maestros?

I agree, plus sticking them on here avoids the double-whammy of the ebay/payshaft fees

 Erm, hang on a minute folks.... I know lot's of folk don't browse the forum by category, but if you look in the Classified's section you'll find this 'sticky' thread listed first, by Jon from when OM first set this up.... Classifieds Section Guidelines "You may also promote an eBay auction - prefix the post 'eBay' - but please don't post the same item repeatedly." So while it may indeed be nice to give OM folk first dibs before fleabaying stuff, it isn't required and it isn't doing anything against the site's policy to list (and link) ebay items. (assuming a purely private sale of course, not commercial)

Trentham Especially given the policy above, if 'certain people find it insulting', isn't that their problem? Your items may well be of interest to many OMers who haven't been insulted and haven't posted on this thread....
