JJ, I just got the following email about it:

Hi Dave, well done for finding Alpkid in todays hiding place however
the Alpkid security code is important and you must send this in your
entry. I didnt make this very clear so please go ahead, stretch your
observational skills a little more and submit it again.

I will try to make this clearer on the site.

I was looking for something a little more "secret" for a secret code! I tried everything including hovering over images in case the alternative text held the code..........doh!
