Anyone had any experience buying online from here?

parents have lost it a bit with online shopping after brothers £80 mp3 player didnt arrive, so good do with some info.

Used them about a year ago to buy a Berghaus GR 45+8 rucksack. Absolutely no problems.

I bought some stuff from them about this time last year. I called them with some questions about the gear I was getting, and found them very good. They even checked the real weight of a couple of sacks I was torn between!

Steve, how is the aformentioned rucksack? i have ordered one online but would also like to know how you feel about it? is it big enough for all round use? does it feel stable and tough - i am planning on giving mine a hard time and want to know if i will be replacing it anytime soon

Rob - was a bit concerned about buying a rucksack on-line without trying it first but at the time it was very difficult to find them in the shops.

One thing liked about it is that it is similar to the Vango in that it has one large main compartment and two side pockets - nice and simple - not full of pockets you never use!

Bought it about a year ago and have used it mainly for winter day walks - my Vango Canyon 30+5 just wasn't big enough for additional stuff like crampons and extra clothing. Only minor niggle is that I usually carry my ice axe by slipping it between my back and the rucksack rather than attaching it to the back of the rucksack and I find that the Vango is much more comfortable for this!

Haven't yet used it for wild camping but intend to do so next year and have no doubt it will be fine as long as you travel reasonably lightweight.
