Anyone else seen allegdly dead celebs in the mountains...?
Do you mean ones that are dead or those that should be put down?
Nice one Andy.....not sure okay those that are dead and those who should be...
What's that thing hanging off Elvis' rucksack?
Or, do you mean that we saw them and THEN they died. Rod Hull for instance?
And, no I didn't see Rod Hull in the mountains. If I had, both him and that bloody puppet would have met their end a lot sooner than they did.

Thats a sheep hanging off his rucksack - maybe the title of the article should read..."Elvis carries woolly sheep off Crib Goch in daring rescue attempt"....
Yep thought it was, doesn't go by the name of 'bob' does it?
Obviously old Elvis is a member of the Bob fan club...

I saw Elvis in the mountains, and he was nice enough to stop for a chat. He{s not normally an outdoorsy person, but he was there¨¨Swiss Alps* to get inspiration for his musical accompaniament to A Midsummer Nights Dream. This was the other Elvis of course.

Hi Si I{m in Ecuador and they have weird keyborads here that I don{t have the patience to figure out, so I{m just tying as normal. Had a little downhill biking accident a few days ago so I{m resting up in internet cafes for a while - not much else to do here if you{re not mobile.
 Do they have Selfridges?
 Hi Joan!
Hope its nothing too serious. Other than that, hope your having a good time! How long are you out there for?

Joan, don't know where you are in Ecuador, but if it's Quito, you must go to the Baredero (sp?) Cuban Bar and have a moquito (mad strong drink) for me. The place has live Cuban music and rocks. Will be in the guide books, can't remember the address except that it's not on the street I can't remember the name of.
Also, if you need any local input or climbing advice, drop by Safari Tours and say hi to Javier, say hello from Jon and Maria del Carmen :-)
Oh, finally, if you're looking for a good acclimatisation climb, the direct on Illiniza Sur is nice, the top rock bit is a bit loose and rotten, but the ice was good when I was there last.
Ah well, have fun and watch out for the pinchos. Scary things ;-)

 Ecuador!

Come on, Alex. You've got Cannock Chase. They haven't.
