Soggy bog roll, is there anything worse? Fortunately those thoroughly teutonic types at Ortlieb have the answer to wet campsite soggies...

Looks a lot like a solution to which there is no known problem.

The moist Andrex is the best camping loo roll anyway, it comes in a plastic wrapper and is meant to be wet.

Baby wipes do the same thing...good for hand washing afterwards, too.

Yeah but have you ever had loo roll disintegrate on you? When you are... ahem... cleansing... then it is not nice at all. And there isn't even any dry loo roll to clean it with! It is not nice. Trust me... I've been on Scout Camp!

Hmmmm I stored it in the top pocket of the rucky for easy access, but the pocket wasn't completely waterproof....

Yuk. Put it in a zip'n'seal these days...

Dock leaves?

I tend to liberate a portion or portions while on route (ordinary bog roll I mean) I did run out once & for the remainder of the trip I had yards of bog roll in every pocket (can't think why?)

Yep Drew, Scout camps are great training grounds for discomfort nd the nastier side of life!

Ziplocks...weeellll a certain Dr Cook tends to get them for nowt, in varying sizes. Which is nice.

Hi, baby wet wipes are great for those personal private moments and come in their own resealable pouch. For back packing etc they need to be torched with some meths before a discrete burial.

Or seal them in a zip'n'seal for later disposal..their natural fragrance covers up any other 'fragrances'.
Ladies need zip'n'seals on some occasions (ahem).

Of course, dry bog roll easily ignites without the meths...just don't do it within wind-blowing distance of any dry grass...not speaking from experience at all...just me doing a strange sort of raindance in Ennerdale...oooops.

Nappy bags are good for carting 'waste' about, as I once left a doggy deposit in my lid for two warm days no nasty niffs!!!!!!!
