Cameron has mentioned wearing one of the above in a couple of articles recently... What is it and who makes them?
Apex - sounds like one you book and pay for weeks in advance of getting to use it.....oops, sorry that's a PHD sale bargain ;-)
Apex is the softshell that the North face uses so I guess he's talking about that.
I had that Pete Hutchins in the back of my cab once... Charged him up front and wouldnt let him out for 21 days. And dropped him off at the wrong zip(!) code.
I laughed out loud. Well, they've had my money now for coming on 4 weeks ...

An apex shirt is a TNF pullover top. It is made with their thinnest lightest softshell type fabric which gives it wind & water resistant properties. It can be worn over a base layer or a microfleece, I purchased one beginning of last year, it was a great buy. Good to see someone else likes it.
Ah Ha! Where did you get it from?
I got it in Tiso's Outdoor Experiance shop, off of Baird St, in Glasgow. I suppose you could get them mail order from TNF. Sorry I cant remember the price.
This is the one I have...

Sorry I cant do proper links, you'll have to copy and paste.

danmck, thanks to your lead I managed to track one down. They have 'em and Elly's Bighams and Costwolds - And now so do I!
The medium was a bit too tight to wear over the TKA100 fleece that I had on so I opted for the large, which may be a bit too large. Either way I'll get to trial it on the Hadrians Wall Path over easter...
Good to hear it, hope you enjoy yours as I have mine.
Might post a gear review after the Wall.
Of course you can danmck Apex Just highlight the link text then clink on the button labeled 'link' then type the url into the box that pops up.
