How did you get on with these? Just seen a pair in Blacks and they look very light (lighter than brasher superlights) but quite supportive. I would worry about the stitchless technology delaminating though...

SuperKat, haven't recieved them yet as they didn't have my size so they had to be ordered.... so am getting anxious waiting for my babs to arrive ;-)
Jamie, they are so damn sexy it hurts, the splayed lovelies, on parr with x adventure 7s i hope...Never a blister and now they have gone to boot heaven but never forgotten.

Hiya all,
They arrived, and was well worth the wait. They fit like a glove, but i have small feet, no seams involved inside, supportive high ankle and stable with the splayed heel. I have walked, jumped, crouched and they are well good. Light as a feather.
I never thought i would say this but they are better than Salomon X adventure 7's! Havent taken them out and abused them yet but Saturday only two days away, so i will either be laughing or crying.

 I walk with a guy who has been using them since the summer. He did most of this winter season (not that there was much of one) in them and swears by them. I don't doubt that they will die before my SLs though.

Hello Can you please let me know where you managed to buy the GCS boots from in the UK ?? I have been searchng for weeks and can only manage to find the SCS boots  Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks so much

 Has anyone got a contact email or TP number for Salomon UK? I have a second set of footwear de-laminating after a short (unreasonable) amount of time. I dont fancy explaining all and sundry to the Saturday boy in Taunton Leisure, and would rather 'vent off' with the 'organ grinder'. So organ grinder's contact details would be highly appreciated, If anyone can help please? 
Edit: I should explain - it is the sole that is de-laninating from the rest of it.

Hiya Tracey, Beyond extreme www.flyandsurf.com. Go to shop, and category and scroll down till you see Salomon footware where they have the mens version which says to email for pricing. I emailed to enquire whether they could get the womens version on the off chance for a size 4 and yes they can and they did and were really friendly and helpful. I have been for sometime a proud owner of well abused mountain goat feet! They are well worth the effort. Fossil, sorry but that is the million pound question, who knows, they hide away. Thanks Paula No not gcs. It was model a few years back, I wrote them off as a bad lot and never bothered with Salomon again, until now, I liked the XA Pro series and bought a pair in early May - they started parting company with part of the sole in mid August! So I cannot get overly euphoric about Salomon, but would just love to have a chat with them.
