There wasn't much in there to start off with... I think what was left is somewhere near the Cantilever.

Good pics, but was everyone hiding when you took them?

Oh and in case you couldn't guess, the 'skaters' were most likely members of Bangor Uni walking club (they said they had ago on Llyn Bochlwyd)

Of fish.

Nice pics Jon. I was wondering about the cornice on top of Y Garn would look like up close whilst over on Tryfan.

A month ago, I did a winter mountaineering course at Plas-Y-Brenin, and we ice-axe/cramponed up out of cwm cneifion onto the Glyder ridge before scrambling down Grybin.

The best day of my life in the hills, and one that has whetted my appetite for greater things.

Your photos have brought all those amazing feeling back to me in a rush - nice one!

What a playground!

now, now Phil, we'd have only gone and done bristly if we'd got away earlier, and we wouldn't have wanted to do that would we??

I'm waiting for Y-Gulley in Cwm Cneifon to come into condition, but something tells me that it's not going to be this winter, not if spring keeps bearing down on us like this... Too mild, too early.

some folks I know where playing on Idwal stream on the Saturday, reckoned it was good, but I only have their word for it as I was "busy" elsewhere

There was a lot of frozen drainage in Idwal, but I wasn't really close enough to see. Nothing in Cneifon looked remotely in nick at all from where I was standing though.
