How about a thread devoted to complete nutcases that participate in the things we do:

1. Jamie Piere, pro skiier breaking the world record for highest drop at abut 270 foot!!! Its bonkers, and I doubt he will do it again!

That's silly, it's like doing the AE in a nun's habit.

Lovely Matt

Ive worked out how to do it now Jon. Thats glider thing is superb, it was on the friday matineee thing once wasnt it?

Are you into moutnain biking then Jon? Ive see na lot of those clips on various videos, the riding along a chain thing is mental. I need ot rack down one of my favouroute clips on someone on some super smooth and nice looking north shore train they built in canada. Its awesome.

Quite a few of those have been matineed  and yep, I've been known to ride mountain bikes a bit, but definitely not along chains... There's quite a bit of north shore on The Collective, but there's some really mad stuff floating around out there as well.

Oooh, hang on, I know something really bonkers on two wheels... I think this thread is goign to be today's Friday Matinee yer know...

WOW!!! I never knew these roadies were so mad! Thats Brilliant. And I really want to surf a train now! Oh, actually on closer inspection theyre not all roadies, their MTB's that have some fast tyres for roads with a couple of roadies.

Hmm, actually I though that last cycling video was completely irresponsible! If they're doing that purely for their own 'buzz' then they're showing a complete lack of consideration for all the other road users in that city, especially the pedestrians that they're weaving past at high speed on what looked like pedestrian crossings. It's one thing to climb a cliff solo or leap off one on your skis in search of an adrenaline rush, but stunts like that could have serious consequences that affect more than the willing participants. They're certainly doing the broader cycling community no favours with their selfish pursuit of urban speed and damn anybody else!
