Hey Jon you forgot to mention Cioch as another manufacturer of Analogy clothing.
I wonder if the hood is any good on it?
It seems a bit od for a surfwear company to be producing such a technical out-of-water garment. Its usually hoodies, flowery shirts and shorts. Someone get one and review it though.
Yep, there's Cioch and Hilltrek as well who use the Analogy stuff. As I understand it, the main differences are the cut which is more fitted and tapered and a slightly more grungey colour palate. I suppose it rains on surfers too
that company looks great, exactly whats needed in the outdoor industry-quality garments with ethics and the environment in mind-anybody have any of their stuff, a few reviews would be good
This company was mentioned in this months Climber magazine, they seem to be calling their fabrics something different to Analogy, something like bioblical or alogn those lines... I'll check again later. Climber magazine seems to be amazed that there is a 'soft' harshell.... Have they never come across paramo before. Its an odd little article.
Ah bless, Finisterre call their stuff Biomimetic Waterproofs, but it is the same system as used by Paramo made in the same Colombian factory. Paramo has just the same green credentials btw, Polyester is recyclable and Paramo's Colombian operation is extremely ethical, they just haven't emphasised that side of their brand.
It is exactly the same materials. There will be variations in fit and there are differences in venting that will change the bottom line a bit, but only a bit.
if I had £260 spare I'd order the new version of the Storm Track for ski touring and other cool weather clag, but even if I get one I won't be wearing it on warmer days.
